Worth the effort I reckon
About time for Ben, Finley and Maja to have some kids to hang out with and all was going well till it got a bit boisterous and Maddie ended up with a broken arm.
Ouch again.
No matter, Maddie was a trooper about it and devoted the rest of the 3 days we had there to trying to convince me I was a dead ringer for Uncle Albert from Mary Poppins. I assured her she actually meant Steve McQueen from The Great Escape.
We had 3 very pleasant days wandering around the village, buying lots of baguettes and drinking too much coffee and wine in a quite frankly lovely part of the world.
The children loved playing in the wheat fields although strictly speaking they weren't allowed to go in the wheat fields we turned a blind eye to that one. Pretty amazing place to play though.
